Terms of use
Last updated 28 August 2026
Plain terms for a site that sells nothing yet. The part worth reading is the fourth section, on what a security tool can and cannot promise.
Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and Wecomply, the operator of wecomply.io. They cover your use of this site and of the tools published on it.
Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not, please stop using it.
Using this site
You may read, link to and share anything published here. You may not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, or use it to distribute anything unlawful.
The text, design, brand names and marks on this site belong to Wecomply. The names of other companies, products and browsers belong to their respective owners and are used only to say what our tools work with.
Using our tools
Each Wecomply tool has its own licence, shown with the tool. Where a tool is free, that means free to use — not a trial, and not free in exchange for your data.
Do not decompile, repackage, resell or distribute a modified build of a Wecomply tool. If you want to deploy one across an organisation, that is fine and encouraged; get in touch if you need help doing it at scale.
What we do not warrant
This matters more here than on most sites, so it is written plainly rather than in capitals.
No security tool catches everything. Wecomply Argus reduces your exposure to a specific family of attacks — scams that try to talk you into running something, granting something or pasting something. It is not antivirus, it is not a firewall, and it is not a substitute for either. It will sometimes warn about a page that turns out to be harmless, and it will sometimes miss a page that is not.
The tools are provided as they are, without a warranty that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or effective against any particular threat. Keep your operating system and browser updated, and keep backups.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Wecomply is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or the tools — including lost profit, lost data or business interruption.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions give consumers rights that cannot be signed away; those rights are unaffected by anything written here.
Changes and contact
These terms may change as the catalogue grows. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last moved.
Questions about these terms: use the contact form.
This is a working draft written to match how the site and the tools actually behave. Have it checked against the law where you are established and where your users are before you rely on it, and update the date above when you do.
